After 2020 Covid lockdowns, I took my work and supplies home to our new house in Forest Hills for a safe environment. In January, we were so thankful for the arrival of a beautiful healthy granddaughter. Home life is busy with frequent interruptions from pets and people. I’m amazed that I got anything finished in this makeshift art-writing-yoga-guestroom, but I did!

In October 2019, my friend, Jordan Shumate, offered me a studio space in the lively shopping area of Green Hills. It provided not only work space, but meeting and party options. Pictured below is my annual cookie party with the Hens from my Harpeth Hall class and more. Centered on the wall is a snow scene by my grandmother that reminds me every day of my creative legacy.
